The Educational Teacher Performance Assessment (EdTPA) is a rubric that guides teachers in their professional development, showing a strong resemblance to the National Board Certification standards. There are three primary components to the EdTPA: planning, assessment, and analysis. This talk features an in-depth look at the process we followed through our student teaching module, personal insights on the strengths and weaknesses of the EdTPA, and an overview of what we knew going into teaching and what we gained from the experience. There is no classroom or cooperating teacher alike! We welcome undergraduates of all majors to attend.
